You and I, sister, are one. God has bound us together. Woven us of the same earth, tears, blood and sweat. No matter our race, our ethnicity or our home. No matter our season of life or marital status, we are divinely interconnected.

I don’t usually feel claustrophobic, but I did in that tiny room with glass walls, putting us all on display. We were at the San Francisco airport, entering the United States.

I walked into a hotel room full of women, women I did not know. Women I would be spending the next three days with. Women I would come to love like we were long-lost friends. Women I still cherish and support.

With the passing of Valentine’s Day, for me and many others, the difficult season is finally over.

I know that’s a stereotypical response from someone who is single. But I really need you to hear me out here.

I quote this to women weekly, and I believe it for each and every one of you. I knowit is a true statement. And I have been working for a very long time to believe this statement to be true about myself.

We have got to talk about money. I know it isn't polite. But y'all the Bible talks about money A LOT. Like more than almost any other subject. And yet we rarely talk about how we are spending our money besides to say don't get in debt and give 10% to your church. That is an anemic money conversation at best.
