Advent: Hope with Patrice Gopo

Patrice Gopo shares some reflections on Hope and reads an excerpt from her essay collection, All the Colors We Will See.

Discussion questions from Patrice’s video:

  • Talk to someone who celebrates Christmas and comes from a different background from yours. Listen to their experiences about Christmas. Consider how what they’ve seen or heard or felt or tasted adds to a more robust understanding of God’s presence in this world.

  • When someone from a different place or background from yours shares a story from their experience, consider how this story invites you into another understanding of the world.
