Anna Woofenden shares what Love looks like to her when it comes to Advent.
Rev. Anna Woofenden is the founding pastor of the Garden Church in San Pedro California. She is also the founder of the Garden Church’s sister non-profit Feed and Be Fed Farm, serving the community by feeding in body and mind and spirit.
At the end of 2017 Anna transitioned the Garden Church to new leadership and is now consulting on outreach and new ministry opportunities, teaching, writing, speaking, and coaching across the country and is the founder and co-host of the Food and Faith Podcast. She is also currently serving part-time as the Visiting Pastor of Peace and Spirituality at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
She is now based Gambier, Ohio with her husband David. She enjoys nature, gardening, art, children, writing, community, singing, laughter, and a good cup of chai. She is passionate about spirituality, justice, food, the earth, beauty, compassion, and community, and is still driven by a calling to re-imagine church.
